Christmas Is Here!
I'd like to take some time to say a Merry Christmas to any of you guys out there who celebrate Christmas.
Christmas is one of the most joyous celebrations of the year and I love the sense of good will and joy the season brings! There's a slew of Christmas pictures and blog posts on the internet, and I'd like to share some of them with you.
Charity for Christmas
One family, one heart.
The Wheat from The Wheat Field blogged about 'giving' to those who truly needs it this Christmas season.
He lists down several charities that we can contribute to, which includes Water, a non-profit organization that aims to provide clean and safe water to populations who are without, and 'Hackers for Charity'.
No, they're not like a modern-age Robin Hood who hack into people's computers and transfer funds electronically to charitable organizations. Amongst other things, they feed children through their charity program and build school labs for children.
I think this is a wonderful Christmas message from The Wheat, and I hope that it reaches to more people as it had me.
Christmas Trees From Around The World
Now, we all know that the one motif for Christmas is the Christmas Tree. The lighting of the Christmas Tree is usually made into a big occasion and I was lucky enough to experience one in Brisbane's city square, Australia.
The tradition originated in Livonia and Germany in the early 16th century and today, the Christmas Tree are lavishly put up in homes as well as public spaces all over the world.
So, I thought, why not gather pictures of Christmas Trees from all over the world?
Just click on the pictures to see a larger images of Christmas trees that float on water, worth $11 million, is eco-friendly and even, a Christmas tree made of lobster traps!
Fashion Tips
If you have been following my Facebook or Twitter closely, you'd have known that I've had a guest blog post on Manisha Dhalani's blog.
Ho Ho Ho!
On her blog, I talked about playing with colors, how Christmas-themed accessories are not all that bad, and the most important factor when picking out a Christmas ensemble.
So, if you haven't yet, head over to Manisha's blog to read my Christmas fashion post. Who knows? You might get inspired by the pictures I've included in the post.
Merry Christmas!
That's the end of my Christmas blog post. To all who celebrate Christmas, I wish you again a Merry Christmas and leave this pretty Christmas tree doodle especially to you.
Happy Holidays, all!
Xoxo.
