Wow, really?! So, what are other designer labels handbags should we Bruneians watch out for?

There are a few that are very popular in Paris now. Longchamp has recently released the Galeries Lafayette handbag for their Le Pliage line. Vanessa Bruno is another up-and-coming label that all the Parisian girls are wearing right now. Goyard is also set to be the new Louis Vuitton, with whom they shared a history with, being originally trunkmakers.

This limited edition Galeries Lafayette Pliage Tote bag is only available at the famous French department store, Galeries Lafayette. It features a special print in red, the famous dome from the iconic Galeries Lafayette store in Boulevard Hausmann. This design comes is black and beige, and is not available anywhere else in the world!

The Goyard handbag has a history dating back to 1853 and started out as trunk makers, just like Louis Vuitton. Their handbags are renowned for its durable and lightweight canvas that is made of a mixture of cotton, hemp and linen. The St Louis Tote Bag (featured above) is one of the more popular Goyard handbag with its rich colors and comes in two sizes, PM (small) and GM (large).

Goyard had emerged from obscurity when New York Barney's featured their handbags in their windows in early 2000's. Celebrities such as Madonna and Karl Lagerfield, are some of their celebrity clientele who place special orders to have the handbags specially monogrammed. Goyard is only sold in fewer than fifteen stores all around the world!
