Are My Shoes Ready??

My shoe. Ain't it pretty?

I am annoyed. More than two weeks ago, I sent a pair of my favourite Charles & Keith shoes to Charles & Keith to get one of the heels fixed. The hard rubber tip of one shoe fell off somewhere so the metal screw in the heel was showing. I had to walk around in them, sounding like this,"Klip KLOP Klip KLOP Klip KLOP."

Anyway, I brought them to The Mall and handed it over to Charles & Keith to get them fixed. Hmm, now that I've thought about it, I didn't have to hand over both shoes, did I?

Anyhoo, that was more than two weeks ago and they have yet to call me to pick them up. So, I made a call to them yesterday and they had no idea where my shoes were. ?????????? They told me it might be with their shoe repairer and asked me to call back the next day because she might be around then. WTH? So, I said,"Excuse me, Charles & Keith, you told me that it would only take a few days and it's been two weeks. You're not sure where they are and you want ME to call YOU back tomorrow because MAYBE your shoe repairer will be around?"

Marah kali ah....

In the end, they said they will get the shoe repairer to call me, which she did today. She told me it's all fixed and I could come pick it up from Manggis. I didn't want to make a big deal of it and ask her why didn't she call me since it's all fixed already. I haven't picked them up yet, but I'm not too worried.

I usually send my Charles & Keith shoes to them to get fixed. I learnt my lesson when I sent a pair to a small shoe-repairer in Bandar. It hurts me when I think of those shoes. The 'shoe-repairer' just drove small screws through the mismatched rubber tips to attach it to the heel. So, now it's all wobbly and sounds like this,"KLOP KLOP KLOP KLOP." So, I retired those shoes. *moment of silence*

So, my advice to all you Charles & Keith shoe lovers, do not send your shoes to other repairers other than the store itself. This is because Charles & Keith has the exact rubber tips for your shoes and won't butcher them. You may have to pay a little bit more ($3 or $5) but at least, it is fixed properly.

Thanks for listening to my rant. If you want to rant too, feel free to do so in this post comments.

Have a good day!
